Overview
Push ("we", "our", "us") is a voice-powered todo app developed by Massless AI. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data across the Push iOS app, Chrome extension, and CLI tool.
Data We Collect
Account Information
- Apple ID (via Sign in with Apple) — used solely for authentication
- We do not store your Apple ID password
Todo Content
- Voice recordings (processed on-device or via our cloud extraction service)
- Text notes you enter
- Todo titles, summaries, and structured content extracted by AI
- Action assignments and reminder settings
Usage Metadata
- Timestamps (creation, modification, completion)
- Device type and app version (for debugging)
- Context app (which app or extension created a todo)
How We Use Your Data
- Sync your todos across devices (iOS, Chrome, CLI)
- Extract structured content from voice and text input using AI
- Send reminder notifications at your requested times
- Route tasks to connected integrations (GitHub, Claude Code, etc.) that you configure
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Push service.
AI Processing
Push uses AI to extract structured content from your voice recordings and text input:
- On-device (iOS 26+): Apple Foundation Models process your voice locally. Audio never leaves your device.
- Cloud: Audio or text is sent to our server, which uses Google Gemini for extraction. Data is processed in real-time and not retained by the AI provider beyond the request.
Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security
- All data transmission uses encrypted HTTPS
- Voice recordings are backed up to your personal iCloud Documents (Apple manages encryption)
- Authentication tokens are stored securely on-device (Keychain on iOS, Chrome secure storage on browser)
Chrome Extension
The Push Chrome Extension helps you save notes from webpages to your Push account.
Data Collection
The extension collects:
- Text notes you manually enter in the extension popup
- Page URLs and titles from the active browser tab when you create a note
- Authentication tokens from Apple Sign-In (stored locally in your browser)
Data Usage
Your data is used solely to:
- Extract structured content (title, summary, actions) using AI
- Sync notes to your Push account
- Display notes in the Push iOS app
- Maintain your sign-in session
Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
activeTab | Read current page URL and title when you create a note |
storage | Store authentication session locally |
identity | Enable Apple Sign-In via OAuth |
alarms | Background token refresh to maintain session |
Data Sharing
We do not:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your data for advertising purposes
- Use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes
- Transfer your data for purposes unrelated to Push
Data is only shared with third-party services that you explicitly connect (e.g., GitHub for issue creation, Claude Code for task execution).
Data Deletion
- Delete individual todos: Permanently removes them from our servers
- Remove Chrome extension: Deletes local authentication tokens from your browser
- Delete Push account: Permanently deletes all your data from our servers, including todos, actions, and account information
Account deletion is available in the Push iOS app under Settings. All data is removed immediately and cannot be recovered.
